Privacy Policy
Roadze is a map of public traffic cameras. You can use most of it without an account and without giving us anything. This page explains exactly what happens when you do create one.
The short version
- Watching cameras needs no account and no personal data.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
- There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- You can delete your account and everything in it, whenever you want.
What we store, and only if you give it

Where the map opens
When you first open Roadze, the map has to point somewhere. Instead of always starting in Las Vegas, our server looks up the rough city your IP address belongs to and starts there. That is all it is used for.
Three things worth being clear about. Your browser never talks to that service — our server asks, so your IP is not handed out from your machine. The answer is city-level, often the city of your internet provider rather than yours, which is why it is never drawn as your location: it only chooses the starting view. And if you have used the site before, your last map position wins over any of this.
This is separate from the location permission. Roadze only knows where you actually are if you turn that on yourself, and that position never leaves your device unless you deliberately share it with someone.
What we do not do
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell data, and we do not share it with data brokers. We do not track you across other websites. There is no advertising on Roadze.
We do not know who you are while you browse the cameras without an account.
Companies that process data for us
Running the service means relying on a few providers. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

| ipwho.is | Turns an IP address into a rough city, so the map opens near you instead of always in Las Vegas. Our server asks, not your browser, and the answer is kept for 12 hours. City-level only — it is never shown as your location. |
| Vercel | Counts page visits and measures loading speed. Receives no cookie and nothing that identifies you — only that a page was opened and how fast it loaded. |
| Railway | Hosts the service. Handles the traffic between your browser and Roadze. |
| State DOTs | The camera images themselves come from public government feeds. We request them; they do not receive anything about you. |
Deleting your account
In Settings → Account you can delete your account. When you do, it is scheduled for deletion and kept for 30 days — a grace period so an accidental or angry deletion can be undone. During that time you can recover it by signing in again.
After 30 days it is deleted permanently by an automatic job, together with your recordings. That deletion is final: we cannot bring it back.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to workbook.corp@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will handle it.
Most of it you can do yourself, without asking anyone, from Settings.
Children
Roadze is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has an account here, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and you have an account, we will email you rather than hope you notice.
