Cookie Policy
There are no advertising cookies on Roadze, and nothing here follows you to other websites. What we do use is the handful of things needed to keep you signed in and remember how you left the app, plus Google Analytics to count visits — explained below.

The first one is strictly necessary: it exists to make the thing work, not to study you. Blocking it means you cannot stay signed in. The two Google Analytics cookies are not necessary: blocking them changes nothing for you, it only means you are not counted.
Stored in your browser (not sent to us)
These are kept by your own browser on your own device. They never travel to our servers — we could not read them if we wanted to.

Clearing your browser data wipes all of it. Nothing breaks: the app just goes back to its defaults.
Third parties
The map is drawn by Mapbox, so your browser talks to their servers to fetch map tiles. Camera images come from state government feeds. Both see the technical details of any web request — your IP address and browser — which is unavoidable when your browser asks a server for an image.
Neither is used to build a profile of you by us, and we do not pass them anything about your account.
Measurement
Roadze counts visits to the website with Google Analytics 4. It tells us how many people opened each page, from which country and on what kind of device, and where they came from — a search engine, a link, a share. That is the whole use: to know whether the work on the site is helping. Without it we could spend three months improving pages and never find out if anyone arrived.
What it does not do here. The advertising features are switched off, so nothing is used to show you ads or to build a profile of you across other sites. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address: it uses it once to work out the country and drops it. We do not send it your email, your account or anything you do inside it, and it is not in the Android app at all.
It sets the two cookies listed above, so that two visits from the same browser count as one visitor and not two. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland those cookies are not set: visits from there are counted without cookies, as anonymous, aggregated pings. And if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Roadze does not load Google Analytics at all.
Google keeps the detailed data for 14 months at most; after that only the aggregated reports remain. To opt out everywhere you can install Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or simply block the two cookies — the cameras and the map keep working exactly the same.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking the session cookie simply means you will not be able to stay signed in; blocking the Google Analytics ones changes nothing — the cameras and the map keep working.
